Junior Tennis Program

Be part of a tennis program that is developing junior players through a foundation on sound skills and techniques. Through our junior staff of USPTA Professionals, your junior will receive help to achieve their tennis goals through our drills, physical training, mental toughness, and monitored match play. The staff at Stonebridge Ranch has many years of experience working with all ages and levels.

Junior Development 

  • First Serve-Tiny Tennis-Ages 4-6: This is a movement-based program teaching kids basic swings using low-compression balls in a fun and game-based environment.  Athletic Skills and hand-eye coordination are the primary focus of this group.
  • First Serve- Future Aces Ages 7-9: The forehand, backhand, serve, & volley technique will be taught, with the proper grips and swings beginning to take shape.  Players will begin to rally & work with a partner through feeding & cooperative drills using age-appropriate courts.  This class uses an orange low-compression ball in a game-based approach.
  • First Serve-Challenger-Ages 10-13: The forehand, backhand, serve, & volley technique will be taught, with the proper grips and swings beginning to take shape.  Players will begin to rally & work with a partner through feeding & cooperative drills using age-appropriate courts.  This class uses a green low-compression ball in a game-based approach.
  • Yellow Ball: This clinic is designed for the beginner / intermediate tournament player with some years of playing experience. Recommended that each player be involved in clinics and private lessons. and USTA, UTR, and DPTA tournaments. The focus is on stroke mechanics/development, shot location, shot selection, conditioning, and match strategies. 

Junior JD & Elite

  • This clinic is designed for advanced tournament players with years of playing experience. Recommended that each player be involved in clinics, private lessons, school tennis, USTA & UTR tournaments. The focus is on stroke mechanics, game planning, shot location, shot selection, conditioning, and match strategies.
